May has come and gone and with it were five speaking engagements that SpotX participated in, around the world. With help from leading companies like Vevo, Fox, Sling TV and more, SpotX took to the stage and focused on major industry topics including the future of TV, brand safety, connected TV and the state of the industry.
Below are some highlights from last month’s speaking opportunities:
SpotX is at the forefront of video advertising and took to Festival of Media Global and capitalized on the very latest in media thinking and gained insights from the world’s most prominent brand CMOs, powerful media executives and pioneering innovators. In addition to attending, SpotX’s CRO, Sean Buckley, presented on what the future holds for TV as well as SpotX’s Managing Director, UK & Southern Europe, Leon Siotis, who discussed the new TV ecosystem.
At the Connected TV World Summit, SpotX was able to fast-forward to the next decade of TV and better understand how media companies can triumph in the new world order that is emerging out post-convergence disruption. With new trends developing in OTT, SpotX’s VP, Mobile & Connected Television, Allen Klosowski, addressed the industry on the future of connected TV and the impact of audience-based buying on traditional time and content models.
SpotX joined top publishers and video experts and discussed pressing issues and best practices in an increasingly video-dependent market. Showcasing a true real-world example, SpotX presented alongside Sling TV and discussed current TV consumption trends and the challenges and benefits of implementing a digital monetization strategy at scale in a TV ecosystem.
Programmatic technologies and operations allied together at this year’s IAB Programmatic Symposium where big industry issues were laid out and attendees deliberated on topics like fake news, fraud and brand safety breakdowns. SpotX’s VP of Platform Services, Ryan Kenney, moderated an interactive discussion during the Town Halls focused on video and connected TV that featured key industries players including Vevo, Fox, and the Dentsu-Aegis Network.
SpotX’s CEO, Mike Shehan took over the SpotX Amsterdam office and uncovered the latest trends in the programmatic video industry and highlighted some of the programmatic tools needed to thrive in 2017 and beyond.
